Goal:
The "Green University" section has been established with the aim of ensuring ecological sustainability, protecting the environment, and promoting sustainable development within the university. The main task of this section is to implement environmental activities and projects, as well as engage students, faculty, and the university community in environmental protection issues.
Objectives:
Increasing environmental awareness
Presenting environmental outcomes through dynamic statistics and infographics
Supporting green practices
Coverage in mass media
Environmental events and initiatives

Events
At Tashkent International University, a number of events are ongoing within the framework of the nationwide "Green Space" project, initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Specifically, landscaping work was carried out on the university campus with the participation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov, and the Rector of Tashkent International University, Jun Yong Wook.
An event to plant fruit and ornamental tree saplings was held on the territory of School No. 9, a specialized state general education school located in the Minor neighborhood, as part of the university's initiative.

At Tashkent International University, a creative meeting was held within the framework of the "Ma’rifat Ulashtir" project, with the participation of renowned writers: Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan for Youth Affairs Botirjon Ergashev, members of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan Muhiddin Omon and Ma’mura Zohidova. Afterward, within the framework of the nationwide "Green Space" project, the guests jointly planted ornamental tree saplings on the university campus.
On November 9, a promotional event on the topic "Environmental Culture – Today and Tomorrow" was held at Tashkent International University within the framework of the nationwide "Green Space" project, in cooperation with the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.
Tashkent International University has started tree planting activities within the framework of the "Green Space" challenge, aimed at protecting nature and increasing green areas. Prior to the event, an online meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, and the event was officially launched.

After thoroughly studying the opinions and wishes of our people and based on the recommendations provided, our President has proposed declaring 2025 as the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" in order to elevate the efforts in this area to a new, higher level.
