TIU — Toward New Horizons in International Cooperation!

On Friday, June 13, 2025, Tashkent International University (TIU) welcomed distinguished guests — a delegation from Sanya University, China.

The delegation was led by Che Yi — Vice President of Sanya University and Vice President of Talent Development at Geely Group, a major Chinese industrial company.

TIU Director Iskandar Yuldashev officially received the guests and introduced them to the university’s activities, international relations, and future strategic plans.

During the meeting, cooperation issues were discussed in the following strategic areas:

• Student and faculty exchange;

• Joint educational programs, scientific projects, and experience sharing;

• Participation of TIU students in short-term and long-term study programs at leading Chinese universities;

• Expanding internship and career opportunities through collaboration with universities affiliated with Geely Group.

Agreements were also reached on Chinese language teaching projects in partnership with Xinwei Institute — a virtual platform connecting universities within Geely Group. Specifically:

• Launching short-term and long-term certified Chinese language courses at TIU;

• Recruiting experienced Chinese instructors;

• Discussing the establishment of a joint language and cultural exchange center.
