STUDENTS AT THE OLIY MAJLIS

In order to implement the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated April 29, 2020, No. PF–5987 "On additional measures for the fundamental improvement of legal education and science in the Republic of Uzbekistan," and to strengthen the theoretical knowledge of legal personnel with practical skills, students of the Faculty of Jurisprudence visited the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan to familiarize themselves with its activities.

During the visit, the students:

directly familiarized themselves with the activities of the Legislative Chamber;

participated in the process of drafting and discussing laws;

engaged in open communication with deputies and specialists.

Such visits enable students to connect their legal knowledge with real political and legal processes, allowing for a deeper understanding of the legislative and state governance systems.

As emphasized in the aforementioned presidential decree, the role of practical training in legal education is of paramount importance. This initiative marked another step towards enhancing the intellectual potential of young lawyers.
