Official Visit of the Delegation from DGIST to Tashkent International University

An official visit of the delegation from the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), Republic of Korea, took place at Tashkent International University.

During the meeting:

Organizing joint educational programs;

Developing joint educational programs in STEM fields, especially in engineering and IT;

Student and faculty exchange;

Summer schools and student exchange issues were discussed.

Furthermore, the possibility of TIU students participating in a summer school in Korea in 2026 was also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to formalize their cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This memorandum will be signed during the visit of TIU Rector Jun Yong Wook to Korea in May this year.
