Natural Sciences Department
The department was founded in September 2004 according to the decree of scientific council of TIU.
The main tasks of the department are to establish information exchange, accelerating the use of new pedagogic methods (online conversations, teacher student meetings) in lectures (in all faculties), organizing «open lectures», «problem lectures» in every lecture, setting up multiple test questions for each subject and establishing their database.
Activities and researches of the department.
Seminars on virtual thinking are running in the department.
Researches on “Problems of teaching natural sciences in learning religious and secular sciences” are carried out in the department. Results of the researches are presented in different scientific conferences.
Professors and lecturers and department prepared teaching manuals course books such as “Principles of ecology”, “Advanced mathematics”, “Methods of analytic mathematics calculations”, “World economic geography”, “Principles of management theory”, “Conception of modern natural sciences”, “Theory of probability”, “Programming technology”, “Informative principles of calculation systems” and an electronic book “Islamic guide”.
Department of Theory and Practice of Building Democratic Society
The Department of the Theory and Practice of Building Democratic Society (hereinafter referred to as “the Department”) was founded on August 20, 1999 and is a part of the Faculty of History and Philosophy of Islam.

Activity and Researches of the Department:
Teachers of the Department are actively participating various grants and innovation projects such as “Creating Textbooks and Manuals About Religion in Continuous Education System” implemented by Tashkent Islamic University, and by Republican International Cultural Center entitled “Ideology of National Independence and Urgent Issues of Strengthening Relations Among Nations”. Moreover, they made considerable contributions in creating great works as Encyclopedia “Islam” and “Philosophy: Comprehensive Dictionary”. For the purpose of providing fruitful and interesting lessons, academic methodological manuals which are made suitable for specializations of the University are prepared by professors and teachers of the Department on the courses of “Ideology of National Independence: Main Concepts and Tendencies”, “Sufism”, “Logic”, “Philosophy of Religion”, “Psychology of Religion”, “Sociology of Religion”, “Philosophy of Islam” and “Epistemology”. A monograph entitled “Organization of Ideological Works” is created. With the purpose of increasing the interest of students for Philosophy course, helping conducted scientific works closely and organizing scientific and practical seminars, “Young Philosophers Society” consisting of young researchers, graduate and undergraduate students and “Philosophy” circle are conducting their activity under the guidance of the Department.
The Department established scientific cooperation relations with Institute of Philosophy and Law of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Philosophy Society of Uzbekistan. The Department is actively participating in creating various works together related to the field and conducting research on grants and innovation projects. Some textbooks, dictionaries and “Philosophy: Comprehensive Dictionary” prepared on the course of “Idea of National Independence: Main Concepts and Tendencies” which is created in cooperation with these organizations are the examples.
Teachers of the department, utilizing fruitfully the established cooperation with the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, the State Museum of Temurids History, «The Victims of repression)) Museum of Nature and Scientific Research Botanic Garden, are conducting their practical works on some studies in such organizations.
